  • How much do garage cabinets cost?

    Our packages start at $1,599 for Tall Storage, $1,899 for Workspace Storage, and $2,100 for Complete Storage. These are starting prices — your final price depends on your color, hardware, upgrades, site conditions, and taxes.

  • What comes with each package?
    Tall Storage includes 2 tall storage cabinets. Workspace Storage includes 2 upper cabinets and 2 lower cabinets. Complete Storage includes 1 tall cabinet, 2 upper cabinets, and 2 lower cabinets. You can see full details on each package page.
  • What colors are available?
    Cabinets are available in White, Gray, and Black.
  • Can I customize a package?
    Yes. Our packages are standardized to keep the process simple, but you can choose from approved colors, hardware, and upgrades.
  • Can I add another cabinet?
    Yes. A representative can help determine whether combining packages or adding individual cabinets makes sense for your space.
  • What is the 36" x 24" Large Storage Upgrade?

    This upgrade increases an eligible cabinet to 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep for larger storage totes or bulky garage items. It's available for +$200 per eligible cabinet.

  • Will large storage totes fit?
    Many common storage totes fit well in our standard and upgraded cabinets. Contact Buildout for current details specific to your totes.
  • Do you install the cabinets?

    Professional installation is included in the starting price. Final installation details and pricing should be confirmed with your Buildout representative.

  • Do you measure my garage?
    Yes. A Buildout representative confirms your measurements and checks for obstacles before production begins.
  • What happens if my garage has an outlet where the cabinet goes?
    That's exactly why we verify measurements before production. We look for garage tracks, outlets, electrical panels, windows, doors, water heaters, utility equipment, and other obstacles that could affect the layout.
  • Where are the cabinets made?
    Cabinet components are manufactured locally in Idaho's Treasure Valley.
  • What material are the cabinets made from?

    Buildout Cabinets are constructed from 5/8" and 3/4" melamine-faced MDF, made in the USA.


    Melamine provides a smooth, durable, easy-to-clean surface that works especially well for garage storage, while the MDF core provides a solid, consistent cabinet structure.


    The cabinet material is made in the USA, then brought here to the Treasure Valley where each cabinet is precision-cut, edge-banded, assembled, and prepared for your garage.
